P&K Thornton are an authorised agent for the sale and installation of Guy Broad's range of 5 speed gearboxes designed to replace the standard 4 speed moss box as fitted to the XK120 range when new. The gearbox utilises the original bell housing and comes as a complete kit with prop shaft, 9.5 inch clutch plate, gear linkage, reverse light switch, speedometer cable and rear mounting which requires welding to the XK120 chassis. We do offer the option of a double drilled flywheel which will take a 9.5 inch diaphragm clutch.
The package has been designed so that the gearstick exists the transmission tunnel in the same position as the original.
